Alex is a practising veterinary surgeon

Dr. Lu joined FirstVet in October 2021 after working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She enjoys client communication, preventative care, internal medicine, and developing relationships with clients. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and shopping at farmer’s markets. Dr. Lu graduated from Universidad de la Salle, Philippines, and has extensive experience in small animal medicine. She has also worked as a veterinary technician in a mobile clinic that performs low-cost spay and neuter surgeries. After completing her veterinary residency, Jenny moved to the United States and worked as a full-time veterinary technician in New Jersey. In 2016, she enrolled in the AVMA’s ECFVG program, which will validate her DVM diploma. She lives in Florida with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys learning new languages, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her pets.
Dr. Lu loves spending time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis. She also has seven fur children. One of them is missing a rear paw. After graduating, Lu is excited to work in a new field and help more families care for their pets. When she’s not busy caring for pets, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her husband, or running agility with her dogs.
Sally joined FirstVet in June 2021
Sally is one of our most enthusiastic team members, with a passion for animals. Before joining FirstVet, she worked for the S.P.C.A clinic in the Fiji Islands. She has worked with sled dogs in Alaska, sea lions in Australia, and Mongolian national vet students. She has also volunteered at dog shelters in Romania and Fiji. Since moving to the UK, she has worked in a busy first opinion practice in the North East. She hopes to further her studies in the area of pet nutrition. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling with her daughter and spending time with her pets, Ramon the tortoise, Tashi the cat, and seven fish.
Sally has been a vet for four years and graduated from Glasgow University in 2015. She has worked in a small animal practice in South Wales and has been an associate veterinarian since 2009. She has a passion for dentistry, ophthalmology, and emergency care. She is married and has two daughters. She is currently working as a locum in a small animal practice in her area. She is excited to continue working in the practice.
Joanne enjoys spending time with animals

Joanne is passionate about surgery and medicine, and enjoys spending time with animals. Joanne lives in Surrey, where she has three dogs and enjoys gardening. Her favorite pastime is mountain hiking. She’s also an avid skier and enjoys spending time with her friends.

Mark is a veterinary surgeon
During his school years, Dr. Mark Kloc, the protagonist of the Ski Town Vet game, developed an interest in science. Later, during his master’s degree program, he pursued a research career in sea turtles. This further confirmed his desire to work with animals and he decided to pursue veterinary medicine. He initially limited his practice to surgeries, but has since expanded his knowledge of various fields, including dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
